Twinned towns
Coming from Spain, Portugal, Italy and later North Africa, migrants have found themselves in Agen since the beginning of the 20th century, cultivating this incredibly rich soil and constructing our town bringing along with their baggage those cultures and traditions which have meshed here forming a real Gascon cocktail.
It is therefore completely natural that down through the years the Agenais, within the context of Agen’s twinned towns, have set off to discover other towns across the world and meet their inhabitants with whom we share such strong and consistent links.
