Location

The town of Agen, located in the heart of the south-west of France, is the capital of Lot-et-Garonne, the department belonging to the Aquitaine region. The town has developed between the banks of both the Garonne and the « Canal lateral to the Garonne ». Its inhabitants are called the Agenais.
